A role within Data Centre of Excellence which consists of a variety of different subject areas, initiatives and challenges, ranging from ensuring that our data is protected and under control, to ensuring we are adhering to regulatory expectations, along with creating and developing innovative solutions to help manage our data.

Leads as a strong contributor for managing and delivering of products, processes, services, or controls for a business unit in line with the wider strategic objectives of the Directorate; continuously analysing, identifying and recommending solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.

The role will support others in formulating the strategic agenda for the Directorate through a range of activities.

Working as a key member of the Data CoE business management team across a broad range of categories including resourcing & recruitment, finances, BAU service management and other (incl. BCP).

Managing an organisational wide resourcing agenda such as vendor / supplier management, internal onboarding, process management and location strategy.

Working proactively to support in the management of the financial agenda, including budget tracking and financial reporting to allow the Leadership Team to manage within budget.

Supporting in the oversight, reporting and improvement of the Data CoE BAU service offering.

Supporting divisional projects and change through the development of business cases and deep dives whilst focussing on analytical research to support process improvement opportunities.

Supporting Data CoE in the execution of various activities such as Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and managing the Chief Data Office headcount mix and recruitment.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring.

Proven experience as either a Business Manager or Operations Manager in a previous role.

Previous experience in Workforce planning; being able to forecast and plan workforce supply and demand.

It would also be nice for you to have.

Experience in Financial Services / Banking, particularly within Data organisations / teams, will be very beneficial.

Experience of liaising with business stakeholders to understand their requirements.

Experience of leading and managing a team of people (FTE + Non-FTE).

Ability to report and present findings from analysis in a clear and articulate manner.
