Role Description



As an Operations Manager, specialising in Site Management and Logistics, you will maintain full oversight of all aspects of infrastructure design, procurement and management for our award-winning portfolio of outdoor concerts and music festivals.

You will work closely with several external teams to deliver our events, including


stakeholders such as suppliers, landowners, local authorities, sponsors and media partners. This role requires a candidate with a strong technical background, excellent


financial analysis skills, and the ability to negotiate and collaborate with diverse teams.

Who you are



Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience



Significant experience as a site manager or complex logistics planner in the temporary live-events sector Proven track record delivering safe, sustainable and commercially robust site footprints, across concurrent projects Strong numerical and financial analysis skills: budget tracking, cost-control and variance analysis Proficiency in AutoCAD and GPS/GIS systems for accurate site layouts CDM Coordinator qualification or equivalent health & safety credentials Strong understanding of CDM requirements and local authority standards and submission processes Expertise managing plant, transport and workforce schedules to tight deadlines Exceptional supplier and contractor management: sourcing, negotiation and SLA review and management Data-driven approach to site financial analysis and value-driven optimisations Experience acting as the primary interface for internal teams (Technical Production, Health & Safety, Sponsorship, Landowners) Demonstrable ability to manage multiple complex projects and lead several delivery teams concurrently, maintaining detailed records, specifications and schedules

What the role includes



Conduct detailed site surveys and produce comprehensive layouts (AutoCAD/GIS) Own and monitor site-specific budgets, analyse variances and drive cost-effective recommendations and negotiations Develop, maintain and execute detailed build and break schedules, ensuring safe and efficient workforce logistics Manage CDM obligations and enforce site safety plans alongside H&S colleagues Source, negotiate with and oversee suppliers ensuring SLAs and quality standards are met Act as the main point of contact for all internal departments, translating their resource needs into cohesive site plans and specifications Develop the commercial integrity of site designs by optimising and innovating layouts for sponsorship, F&B and partners Champion our sustainability action plans across sites, leading on operational implementation; set and hit targets on waste diversion, energy use and carbon footprint per event Provide on-site tactical decision-making (bronze level), ensuring continuity and rapid response to emerging issues Lead post-event debriefs to capture lessons learned and inform continuous process improvements
