Office Administrator (Plant & Machinery Operations)

to support the daily running of our busy business.

Role Overview:


This is a varied administrative role covering logistics, finance, maintenance coordination, compliance, and general office support. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities across departments.

Example Responsibilities:



You may be expected to be involved with the below activities:



Coordinate logistics and transport, including movement orders, off-hires, permits, and haulage
Manage invoices, payments, credits, and financial reconciliations
Support equipment maintenance records, repairs, and parts ordering
Assist with project and site operations documentation and scheduling
Handle marketing updates, sales admin, and promotional materials
Maintain compliance files, insurance, planning, and HSE documentation
Track communications, emails, and follow-ups with suppliers and customers
Order consumables, parts, and general supplies
Support HR with staff records, payments, and new starter paperwork
Carry out general office and yard admin tasks, filing, and expense checks

Requirements:


Previous experience in an office or operations admin role
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with good attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic digital admin tools
Confident communicator across phone, email, and in person
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to prioritise workload
Basic understanding of industry is advantageous
