Operations Officer
' has arisen to join the team and impact positively upon our operational excellence. This opportunity offers clear progression to Operations Manager in the future, upon successful performance.
Starting asap, your role will be rewarding & varied - please see below key areas of responsibility;
Administration:
Customer correspondence
Sales / shipping quotations
Order confirmations
Use of inventory, MRP and management systems
Production schedule planning
Liaise with stores manager regarding stock levels
Ordering of material supplies
Stock control of shipping / assembly supplies
Shipping of orders domestically and internationally with knowledge of applicable rules and regulations
Customer invoicing
Production:
Product assembly
Metal cutting
Polishing
Painting
Gluing
Use of various hand tools
Laser engraving
Labelling
Packing
Quality control
Leadership:
Work scheduling and supervision of Operations staff
Weekly maintenance checks
Timesheet monitoring / payroll support
Ideal Skills

Proficient in operational administration
Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
