Operations officer

We are looking for an Operations Officer to help with the day to day running of our organization. The role is part-time initially 16 hours per week and will be mostly Thursday and Friday evenings and 9-6pm Saturday.

The organisation is dedicated to enhancing community life through sports and activities, addressing social challenges, and fostering positive outcomes.

The Role:

The role is very rewarding and varied and includes the following duties:

Engaging with the public

Answering reception enquiries

Showing people our facilities

Taking bookings and answering queries face to face and over the phone

Signing people up for gym.

Some bar work involved

Cleaning duties will also be involved

The Candidate:

The ideal Assistant Hub Manager will possess the following:

Outgoing and fun personality

Be used to working with the public

Be positive and energetic

Strong customer service skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Computer literacy

Interest in the health and fitness industry

The following skills and experience are highly desirable

Bar experience

Good understanding of social media

Experience of working in the Health and Fitness industry

Our mission is to improve the lives of our local community through sports and community based activities in a safe and inclusive manner. We aim to address the social challenges in our community and turn them into positive social outcomes. We currently work with members and users from the young to the more senior with a range of indoor and outdoor fitness and community activities
