Care & Repair Western Bay is a registered Charity which exists to support older people living in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot to repair, adapt and maintain their homes enabling them to live as independently as possible with increased safety, security, warmth and comfort.
Care & Repair Western Bay are looking to recruit a full-time Operations Officer to join our team. The role of the Operations Officer is to provide robust and comprehensive project management of designated key projects, chiefly in relation to the development of a practical services business model that will enable the Care & Repair Group to take forward their strategies and ensure the support that all clients are offered is of a high quality and appropriate to their needs.
In this varied and rewarding role, the Operations Officer will assist Care and Repair with Business Development, focusing on income generation and diversification in the organisation's practical services; establish and grow relationships with appropriate partners and clients and maintain a forecast and targeting sales attainment plan.
Other important aspects of this role are to design measurement and evaluation frameworks that enable practical services to evidence robust outcomes in terms of projects and to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders and work effectively with staff across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a small to medium sized building works environment, together with good written and verbal communication skills and be computer literate.
