Operations, Production And Customer Assistant

Job Description

An exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be at the heart of an ambitious and growing luxury jewellery business. You'll play a vital role in overseeing our production process, communicating with suppliers, and ensuring production quality and timelines are met.

You will manage stock levels to anticipate demand to support the execution of our annual sales plan. From time to time you may also be a support to the CEO in product design and stones sourcing.

You'll be responsible for customer fulfilment, satisfaction, and service -- from ensuring timely deliveries and beautifully packaged items, to handling customer communication and day-to-day organisational tasks, including occasional post office runs, hallmarking, couriers and other organisational tasks.

Operations & Production



Oversee production -- from placing stock orders and restocking the website to monitoring delivery timelines to support our sales plan and customer orders. Manage stock production with our suppliers to ensure we meet future demand. Deliver business goals through efficient operational planning, proactively addressing risks and opportunities (e.g. managing Christmas order volumes and delivery deadlines). Support quarterly sales plans through effective stock and inventory management. Assist in and oversee new product development and stone sourcing.

Customer Management



Order Management & Fulfilment



Pack and wrap our jewellery with exceptional care and attention to detail. Fulfil orders and manage dispatch using DHL. Oversee the full order lifecycle -- from payment to delivery -- ensuring a seamless and outstanding customer experience.

Customer Communications



Handle customer inquiries via email, live chat, and social media. Provide personalised product recommendations and resolve any post-purchase concerns. Build lasting relationships with key customers by understanding their preferences and purchase history.
In times of increase demand you will manage and supervise additional freelance assistants for disptach purposes.#

Social media



You may be involved in supporting our social media manager in creating content.

About You



Experience required:



Experience working in a product-based business Experience in eCommerce Experience in operations Operations experience in the jewellery industry

Desirable skills:



Familiarity with Shopify, website management, and Mailchimp (advantageous but not essential) Social media content creation
