We are looking for an experienced and highly organised individual to lead and coordinate our in-house teams across our projects with input from pre-construction to completion. Overseeing the day-to-day operational delivery across multiple projects the right candidate will be essential the efficient execution and programming to meet cost and quality expectations.

Working closely with the contract management team, you will drive operational efficiency through effective planning, coordination and resource management. This is a challenging and varied role with excellent prospects for development.

Responsibilities



Lead the operational delivery of multi-disciplinary projects including roof works, joinery, lime works, groundworks, consolidation works. Produce programmes based on scopes of work and oversee delivery onsite through task briefing and scheduling. Take part in regular progress meetings with stakeholders, providing information on progress. Producing and maintaining Construction Phase Plans, RAMS and site documentation. Work with the project/contract team to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to specification. Oversee resource planning, procurement, fleet management and logistics to optimise project delivery. Monitor project performance and report progress to senior management. Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to operational procedures, efficiency and quality control standards. Coordinate activities with employees and sub-contractors per project and company-wide. Accurately complete all required project documentation. Ensure CDM regs and full compliance standards are established and maintained across all sites. Support a safe, compliant and collaborative working environment. Drive operational efficiency through effective planning, coordination, and resource management. Mentor and develop operatives, fostering a safety-first and high-performance culture.

Requirements



Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering complex projects. In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or operations management (e.g., NVQ Level 6, SMSTS, IOSH/NEBOSH) Proven experience managing construction or building services projects. Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the UK. Proven experience motivating teams and delivering results. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional presentation and a proactive, "can-do" attitude. Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
