JOB TITLE: ROPE ACCESS PROJECT COORDINATOR.
This is a Part Time job - 22.5 hours per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To aid in the successful delivery of projects or sub-projects with defined scope by meeting or exceeding the given project objectives without harm to people, assets, or the environment.
Provide support to Operational and HSEQ teams in the subject matter.
To provide support to the Operations Manager, Technical Authority and Rope Access delivery team.
To provide support for the assurance and compliance of the subject matter in line with Company, National and International standards, guidelines, and codes of practice.
Have a good understanding of the Company's Health, Safety and Quality and Environmental Policies
To provide business support and to add value to the business.
To ensure compliance and best practice adoption.
Have an understanding of appropriate IRATA documentation, including ICOP and TACS and regulations such as Work at Height Regulation.
Provide support, guidance and mentoring to Rope Access personnel.
Promote discipline awareness capability internally and externally.
Provide recommendations for Continuous Improvement.
Provide knowledge, innovations, industry best practice and lessons learnt to Rope Access staff.
Provide support and attend client meetings as required.
Carryout inspections and internal audits as specified by the Quality plan.
Report any inspection or audit non-conformances using Synergy.
Activity promotes and drives safety in the system design and the delivery of integrity solutions, ensuring improvements are identified and compliance with legislation requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of professional and industrial technology and research in order to drive best practice into the service offering.
Undertake site visits to meet and discuss any matters arising with Petrofac personnel and client representatives and have a safety focus.
Show personal involvement when visiting sites / assets by conducting random inspections of operations, site walkabouts, etc.
Accountable for competently performing assigned project tasks without supervision.
Work as a project team member or a member of the project personnel.
Responsible for maintaining progress against agreed cost and schedule.
Able to analyse, diagnose and use project management tools and professional judgement to resolve discreet problems at a project level.
Appraise the relevant project management focal point of the performance of the project element.
Work to the project interface document to maintain the alignment of client and Petrofac processes during the project lifecycle.
Maintain communication with Engineering, Construction and Commissioning leads where necessary within the project element.
Support the risk management process during the project.
Support the management of change process during the project.
Work to the Project Execution Plan, ensuring compliance and assurance of delivery against the PEP objectives.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
The individual must have practical experience in rope access operations.
Must have, or have held, IRATA Level 1 certification or interested in obtaining.
Hold a minimum of IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent or interested in obtaining.
Hold PPE Inspection Certification or interested in obtaining.
In the event of an emergency, carry out duties as identified in the emergency response procedure or as directed by onshore Senior management. Personnel are required to undertake any training associated with these roles.
An awareness of construction and commissioning management.
Be a strong communicator and be able to state key project goals and objectives and present them clearly to the project team and stakeholders.
