We are a busy, fast-growing commercial and private grounds maintenance company based in Edinburgh, with with hundreds of sites across the city and surrounding areas. We're looking for a reliable, proactive
Operations & Site Supervisor
to support the smooth running of our yard, vans, machinery, and team on the ground.
This is a varied, hands-on role that will suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, keeping things organised, and taking pride in making a growing business work efficiently.
Your Responsibilities
Coordinate van MOTs, servicing, and vehicle repairs
Manage yard organisation, tool stock, van stocks, uniforms, and keys
Deliver and collect tools and machinery from sites
Oversee tool and equipment check-in/out with teams
Carry out site visits and support quality control
Meet new staff on-site to show them the work areas and standards
Be the go-to person for team queries (instead of escalating to management)
Communicate clearly with the office team to keep things running smoothly

Carry out minor machinery servicing and basic repairs to Scags, ride-on mowers, strimmers, and other power tools
What We're Looking For
Strong background in landscaping, grounds maintenance, construction, or logistics
Excellent organisational skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Comfortable supporting a team and working independently
Calm and confident communicator
Full UK driving licence essential

Mechanical experience with grounds maintenance tools and machinery
