About the Role:



As

Operations Supervisor

, you will be the central hub of our operational team--ensuring projects flow smoothly from enquiry through to completion, and customers are kept informed and happy throughout. You'll work closely with internal staff, subcontractors, and customers to keep things moving efficiently and with clear communication.

You'll also be a key contributor to improving how we do things. As a young and fast-growing company, our processes are evolving, and we're looking for someone who's not just reactive but proactive--helping to build out, document and embed better systems, schedules and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:



Coordinate day-to-day operational delivery of projects across all renewable energy technologies. Liaise directly with customers throughout project lifecycles--managing expectations, booking installations, and resolving scheduling issues Track project milestones using our job management system , ensuring teams stay on schedule and costs stay in line Plan and schedule installation resources, proactively managing internal and external contractors Communicate regularly with site-based teams to ensure they have the right information, materials, and tools to deliver Maintain operational documentation including job packs, timesheets, RAMS and handovers Monitor equipment, materials and delivery readiness in coordination with suppliers and stock systems Manage internal job audits and project reviews, ensuring consistency, quality standards, and adherence to company procedures Manage corrective and preventative actions, including follow-up of remedial works, snagging lists, and product returns Lead on customer excellence across operations--ensuring that customers are kept well-informed throughout the project, that handovers are professional, and that high service standards are maintained Support development of operational performance reporting, using data from systems to track delivery KPIs and identify areas for improvement Support compliance and H&S processes- ensuring documentation is completed and boxes are ticked Champion continuous improvement by identifying broken processes and proposing or implementing better ways of working Contribute to onboarding and training of staff in systems, processes, and operational best practice Identify and mitigate project risks, troubleshooting challenges as they arise. Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, risk assessments, and post-project reviews. Drive continuous improvement and efficiency for full project lifecycles. Requirements:



Essential:

Strong organisational and coordination skills with a focus on outcomes Experience in an operational or site coordination role within construction, trades, or renewables Excellent communication and interpersonal skills--confident working across all levels and with external partners Able to manage multiple priorities, take ownership, and keep projects moving Comfortable using job management and CRM systems (e.g. Simpro) and digital tools (Office, Teams, etc.) Full UK driving licence
Desirable:

Experience working with renewable technologies (e.g. solar PV, battery storage, EV) Familiarity with scheduling tools, job tracking software, or operational dashboards Understanding of H&S and operational compliance frameworks Experience improving or documenting internal processes or systems Previous exposure to residential project delivery
