Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to ensure that all InBond movement activities meet Service Level Agreement standards and follow established procedures. This role includes providing support and reports to the Managers and Directors as needed and overseeing the management of operational staff.

Responsibilities:

Setting goals and objectives, and assigning tasks to staff on a daily basis. Taking an active role in general warehouse duties while assisting and supporting colleagues. Ensuring that clients' expectations are met or exceeded through the level of services provided. Leading Warehouse Team Members to ensure effective performance. Providing documented training to the team in line with the company's standards. Managing team performance and providing regular updates to the Operations Support Manager. Addressing any staffing issues or disciplinary matters. Encouraging positive and effective contributions from staff. Being proactive in problem-solving and proposing initiatives for operations. Maintaining accuracy and quality standards. Ensuring good housekeeping and work practices. Overseeing health and safety activities within the operation on a daily basis. Responsible for the maintenance and regulatory testing of material handling equipment. Ensuring that shelving and racking are suitable for use and conducting regular inspections. Creating and distributing staff schedules. Identifying and reporting any issues to the relevant Manager that could negatively impact the operation. Performing tasks as reasonably requested by the Management team.
