Job Overview
We're looking for a highly organised, sharp, and proactive Operations Support Coordinator to be at the heart of our Michael Pavis site in Nottingham. This role is far more than keeping the paperwork tidy - it's for someone who thrives on variety, pace, and being the person everyone can count on.
You'll work closely with the management team to make sure our site runs smoothly every day. From handling operational reporting and supporting H&S compliance to coordinating contractors and chasing invoices, you'll be the one keeping everything connected and on track.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be supporting the Management Team with:
Providing general operations support to the Profit Centre Manager
Coordinating operational projects and process improvements
Preparing and maintaining KPI reporting
Handling day-to-day administration and documentation
Supporting H&S compliance and identifying potential risks
Carrying out equipment and maintenance checks
Schedule meetings and coordinate site diaries
Overseeing site security and reviewing CCTV when required
Managing overheads, grounds maintenance, and external contractors
Assisting with stock counts and investigating discrepancies
Resolving customer and overhead invoice queries and approvals
Maintaining staff time records and holiday planning
In short, you'll be the person the team depends on to keep one of the UK's busiest merchant sites firing on all cylinders. It's a role where you can make an immediate impact and see the results of your work every single day.
What We're Looking For
Previous Admin, Operation Support, or Team Coordinator Experience
Experience in Operations, Administration & H&S - you understand how the moving parts fit together and enjoy making them work smoothly
Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines without losing focus
A natural problem solver - you don't just spot issues, you find solutions and act on them
Strong communicator, confident working with suppliers, managers, and internal teams to get results
Comfortable with systems, spreadsheets, and data - able to track information and keep records accurate
