Role Overview
As Operations Support Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and leading the operational performance of our field-based and office-based Regional Support Teams.
Working closely with the Head of Parking Operations and Regional Operations Managers, you will ensure effective management of our operational teams, uphold service standards, and maintain a high-performance culture aligned to Intelli-Parks values.
The role blends leadership, coordination, and hands-on support ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, people-focused environment where operational excellence is key.
Key Responsibilities
People & Team Management

Lead, support, and motivate the Regional Support Team, ensuring all objectives are met within agreed timelines.
Act as Duty Operations Manager during weekend periods, ensuring operational coverage and issue resolution.
Provide day-to-day support to Operatives, Regional Supports, Supervisors, and Regional Operations Managers.
Manage team holiday schedules, ensuring adequate cover at all times.
Conduct exit interviews, ensuring feedback is captured and shared with HR and the Head of Department.
Coordinate welfare calls across the patroller population, documenting and following up on all actions.
Oversee operative recruitment, ensuring structured and fair interview processes and adequate resourcing.
Training, Development & Performance

Coordinate operative training and retraining in partnership with Regional Operations Managers.
Ensure all training feedback is collated, reviewed, and used to improve learning outcomes.
Monitor and manage operative performance, providing guidance and corrective action where required.
Ensure effective use of the Virtual Training Platform, and that all team members complete mandatory modules.
Identify and manage underperforming operatives, supporting improvement plans with Regional Managers.
Operational Excellence & Compliance

Maintain weekend PCN performance and ensure field operatives achieve expected productivity levels.
Oversee operative payroll accuracy, ensuring error rates within Parking Operations remain below 2%.
Ensure out-of-hours support coverage is maintained and escalations are handled promptly.
Coordinate operative schedules, GPS tracking, and site allocations to optimise efficiency.
Monitor and approve expense claims and cancellations, providing guidance where needed.
Maintain and document operative reviews, spot checks, and attendance records.
Support the Head of Parking Operations in real-time incident management and emergency escalation.
Regional Support Duties

Input and verify operative hours in the payroll system daily (completed by Monday 10am).
Conduct spot checks and GPS verifications for Operatives within assigned regions.
Review and approve expenses in line with policy.
Support iTicket system queries and provide technical guidance to operatives.
Review new starter packs for accuracy and compliance before submission.
Coordinate call-outs and emergency responses, escalating to HR or Area Managers as required.
Act as the main internal point of contact between field operations and Head Office functions.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
Desirable
Experience in a fast-paced operational environment with strong organisational skills
Supervisory or management experience in a multi-site or field-based team
Excellent verbal and written communication
Experience in car park management or a logistics/field operations sector
Confident using Microsoft Office and digital tools
Understanding of payroll and scheduling systems
Ability to prioritise, plan, and manage competing demands
Experience working with HR, training, or compliance teams
Strong people management and problem-solving skills
Experience leading operational change or improvement projects
