Job Description

Job Purpose:



1. To support the delivery of Recycling and Waste Collection services and associated

task's throughout the city.

2. Support the resourcing of the service, by taking requests for leave and recording

sickness absence, as well as raising orders through matrix for agency cover.

3. Deal with customer requests and complaints.

Duties and Responsibilities



Job Specific Requirements



1. Carrying out day-to-day administrative duties, such as dealing with requests and

complaints, letter writing and report writing.

2. Dealing with requests/reports from staff and ensuring allocated to the correct team,

recording all issues throughout the day and note what has been done to rectify them.

3. Record sickness absence, special leave and annual leave for frontline staff and

update the resource spreadsheet accordingly.

4. Deal with enquiries from frontline staff regarding leave balances, entitlements etc

5. 'Ghost-writing' on digigov on behalf of frontline staff to ensure overtime etc is paid in

accordance with hours worked.

6. Use all available technology to plan the resource sheet e.g. digigov. Tachomaster etc.

7. Keep senior management informed of daily issues and other key data.

8. Manage all waste programs and software used in Waste Collections (Echo, Aloy, Fleetclear, Routesmart, Tachomaster, Bartec, Papertrail, Quartix, E-Tracker). Acting as service lead in relation to all digital systems.

9. Ensure compliance with audits and legislation in relation to GDPR and Data Governance.

10. Ensure good housekeeping within the collections office. Corporate Requirements

In order to support you in this, you are required to access safeguarding training at the level which is relevant to this post.

14. As a term of your employment, you may be required to undertake such other duties and/or times of work as may reasonably be required of you, commensurate with your grade or general level of responsibility within the organisation.

15. Although you will be provided with a base, you will be required to work from various locations in accordance with the needs of the role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00 per year
