We are currently recruiting an Operations Support Officer to work at our depot in Warrington.
Reporting to the Location Service Manager you will be responsible for the daily co-ordination of the engineering function, dealing with Goods in and stores maintenance. Allocation of Engineering jobs to aid the team whilst maintaining an organised level of engineering administration.
This role is on a Fixed Term contract for 6 months. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8am till 4pm with 30 mins lunch break.

Responsibilities include:
Impress stock maintenance, creating purchase orders and goods receipting.
Consumable stock maintenance, creating purchase orders when levels are low and goods receipting. Ensuring compliance is maintained within the depot.
POL and COSSH stock maintenance, creating purchase orders and goods receipting.
Raising any supplier issues to the LSM in a timely manner.
Assist the depot H&S representative with the overall Depot Safety File, including -
+ PPE register
+ Harness register
+ Periodic maintenance register
+ Depot training file
In day engineering job allocation as and when necessary.
Depot damage case management under guidance of LSM.
Improve customer service, providing customers with breakdown ETAs.
Maintain fuelling policy regarding returns is adhered to and 100% compliant.
When required, assist the LSM in parts ordering for repairs and breakdowns in a timely manner.
Adhere to company policy and goods receipt all parcels same day, reporting to the LSM to allocate to correct engineering team.
Allocate correct level of work to 3rdparty supplier of LOLER certificates 3 times a week.
Additional support to the DSO duties when required for annual leave cover or peak periods
Additional support to hire desk when required
Any other reasonable management instruction to support the upkeep of depot standards
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Previous experience in Warehouse/Stock management
Engineering background would be an advantage, however not essential
Previous administration experience
Attention to detail
Ability to multi task and work well within a team
