Position Overview of Operations Support Operative

Operations Support Operative (Customer on Site) Derby - 12.52 per hour, 39 hours per week + 22.5% shift premium - weekly paid - alternating early and late shift-Monday to Friday

Located within the Customer Site in Derby, we are looking to recruit an Operations Support Operative on an alternating early and late shift pattern. You will ensure the customer packaging requirements are met whilst working within a small team.

Responsibilities

Sorting empty packaging from various sites into reusable and scrap Sourcing relevant boxes on request for the customer and providing alternatives if those requested are not available Maintaining VMI stock and the database Packing of hardware to required specifications prior to dispatch Re-ordering stock of containers and packaging material

Requirements

This role requires you to be able to use your own initiative as you will be working alone on your shift. Good IT skills, specifically Excel and Teams and knowledge of WMS and Microsoft Office, training will be provided for In-house software. You must be able to demonstrate a checkable five-year history and pass security checks to obtain Air Cargo Security Clearance Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to develop and maintain excellent working relationship with key customer contacts. To prioritise conflicting demands and remain calm under pressure. A full, clean driving licence is required.
