Job Summary

The Operations Support Technician will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse, stock management, and production support areas. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring flexibility to assist across multiple functions including stock control, order picking, warehouse duties, delivery driving, wiring workshop support, and light fabrication work.

Stock & Warehouse

o Maintain accurate stock control and carry out regular stock checks.

o Receive, inspect and process incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality.

o Pick and prepare components for production jobs and customer orders.

o Handle goods in/out, ensuring correct labelling and storage.

o Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.

o Operate forklifts, pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment (training provided if required).

o Carry out general warehouse duties, including organisation and housekeeping.

Deliveries & Logistics

o Prepare and deliver orders to customers using company vehicle.

o Ensure safe loading/unloading and maintain delivery records.

Workshop & Production Support

o Assist in the wiring workshop with assembly, wiring, and testing of equipment (training provided if required).

o Support the fabrication team with basic tasks such as preparation, assembly, or finishing work.

o Provide cover across departments to ensure smooth workflow during busy periods or staff absence.

Health & Safety

o Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company health and safety procedures.

o Maintain safe working practices in warehouse, workshop, and on deliveries.

Skills & Attributes

Previous experience in warehouse, stock control, or production support roles desirable. Practical, hands-on approach with willingness to learn new skills. Full UK driving licence essential. Ability to work flexibly across multiple functions.

Pay: 32,500.00-34,500.00 per year
