Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting operations, managing vehicles, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods into the UK. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, and experience in wms, word and excel. Duties

Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of goods Planning and coordinating shipments Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update records, and manage stock movements Managing incoming trucks on Sundays, interacting with UK customs agents and carriers Customer care and general assistance regarding orders and deliveries Managing customer orders Support for delivery trucks Collaborate with team members to meet operational deadlines and improve workflow efficiency

Qualifications

Previous experience in a office environment or logistics role is preferred Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software an additional language (Romanian and Italian).Advantages but not essential Knowledge of the transport/food distribution sector. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Communication & Problem-solving skills

Pay: 26,000.00-32,000.00 per year
