LDG Group LTD, has been a leader in the construction industry for over 35 years, specializing in the manufacturing and installation of high-quality, UPVC and Aluminium, windows, doors, conservatories and extensions.

We are recruiting an Operations/Office Manager to join to join our dedicated team for an established construction company.

You will be an experienced Operations/Office Manager who enjoys a broad role encompassing aspects of Management, Customer Service, Running an Installation diary of various trades and knowledge within the industry

You will be able to work with a can-do attitude, agility and be happy to take on any task given to you.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Office Manager who enjoys working for a large retail business where you will be the go-to person for Installations and Customer Service

You will be working in our head office which is based in Preston, and you will report directly to the Operations Director.

Responsibilities:



You will ensure that the staff in each section and under your control work within the boundaries of their Contract of Employment and complete their tasks and duties accordingly Direct and motivate staff to always perform at their best You will ensure you that you liaise on a regular and consistent basis with heads of other departments and the Operations Director You will assist the Installation Managers in the induction processes for tradesmen and ensuring the new recruits settle into their roles well You will be responsible for supporting the team members in the installation department and covering for any absences as required by the business You will manage the day-to-day issues alongside the Installation Managers such as absence monitor, holiday requirements and training You will ensure that all tradesmen comply with the Health & Safety requirements at all times You will be expected to work to targets with the Installation Department Manage day-to-day operations and lead projects from start to finish. Delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of Installation Building strong relationships with suppliers

Essential criteria for this role



Excellent computer skills which should include Microsoft Office Proven background in construction and operations and must be able to plan and organise the work amongst staff according to their abilities and aptitude Strong communication and people skills Highly organised with great attention to detail Proactive, solutions-focused, and motivated to deliver results Strong leadership, organisation, and project management skills. To have a 'can do' attitude and be approachable Excellent Customer Service Skills and Time management Able to prioritise their own workload and that of a team of individuals Must be able to embrace change and support the business through change
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:



Monday to Thursday 7:30 - 16:30 and Friday's 7:30 - 16:00pm
