Vacancy:



An Operator in the Assembly team is responsible for assembling a range of sophisticated electro-optical instruments incorporating mechanical, optical and electronic components.

Key Responsibilities:



The main duties with these positions will include:

Working as part of a dedicated team, assembling a range of sophisticated electro-optical instruments. To provide quality work standards Involvement in process improvement To support the team in achieving customer requirements

Personal Specification:



Candidates should demonstrate a good level of education (at least a grade C or above in Maths and English O Level/GCSE or equivalent), mechanical aptitude and an appreciation of mechanical principles, but above all the willingness to learn. Candidates should be flexible and keen to learn new processes and procedures with a positive attitude and 'can do' approach.

This role would particularly suit candidates who have experience of using small equipment, with intricate parts such as small scale model kits, embroidery, nail art, pc/laptop hardware, mobile phone rebuild etc.

Flexibility of working hours may be required, along with availability to work overtime to meet business needs.

The successful candidates would ideally have experience of assembly processes and techniques. It would also be a great advantage if applicants had Optical Handling experience, however given the specialised nature of our business full training will be given.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
