The role:
As an Entry Level Operator, you will help drive our goals by:Ensure compliance with Production, Environmental, Health & Safety procedures, accurately record process data using percentages/basic maths, promptly report incidents, and minimise waste to control costs.
Operate, set up, and inspect machinery and components across multiple areas; use measuring equipment, SPC techniques, and quality sampling to monitor product quality and prepare inspection documentation.
Work effectively with colleagues, management, and key members to meet production targets, customer demand, and project requirements, assisting with any additional duties as instructed.
Perform inspection, packaging, and manufacturing tasks to agreed standards, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to budget controls.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience of structured problem solving techniques such as Six Signa and LEAN
Reasonable IT skills and experience working with Word/Excel
Willingness to follow safe systems of work
