SALARY: 18.60 PER HOUR PLUS 2,500 SHIFT ALLOWANCE PER ANNUM

A vacancy has arisen for an Operator Maintainer to join our team at Drax Power Station.
Hargreaves Industrial Services provide a varied Operations and Maintenance service to our client at Drax Power Station. We handle, maintain, and reclaim materials including FBA, Coal and Mitigant Slurry whilst managing material stocks and transportation using a wide range of Mobile Plant.
The role briefly encompasses the following duties: -
Conducting operational tasks in the HIS contract area (training/competence required)
Carrying out maintenance tasks as designated by the shift supervisor (dependent on training and competence)
Working alongside colleagues to ensure the maximum level of maintenance and repair can be achieved.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the plant as per the planned routines, and in case of any unexpected event.
Promoting a positive approach towards health and safety
Any other reasonable instruction required to ensure the smooth operation of the site as directed by the Operations Shift Supervisor
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/ attributes:-

Operationally trained and competent
Good communication skills
Always work to both HIS and the client's safety policies.
COSHH Awareness
Risk assessment competent
Positive attitude to safety
Site safety induction training
HIS safety induction training
Drax safety rules acceptor training
Desirable
Maintenance activities experience
Permit acceptor within Drax safety rules
Mobile Plant operating licenses
Basic maintenance training and knowledge
Maintenance Experience (Fixed Plant)
Lubrication tasks.
Flexible approach to work
Excellent attitude towards Health & Safety
Good communication skills
A strong team player
Good timekeeper and willing to work overtime as necessary
