The Operator will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and safety while contributing to the overall productivity of the operation.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilise hand tools and tooling effectively for various tasks. Conduct basic maths calculations to support production processes. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Handle materials appropriately within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and inventory management. Maintain accurate records of production data and equipment performance. Assist in the training of new staff on operational procedures and safety measures.

Skills

Proficient in using CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for design and modification tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems and logic controllers. Experience in materials handling within a warehouse or mill setting. Familiarity with basic maths for calculations related to production tasks. Competence in using hand tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
