TemporaryWe are in need at Shepton Mallet of an ophthalmic HCA for next week, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
Patient Interaction
: Greeting patients, preparing them for exams, and assisting with basic eye assessments.Diagnostic Support
: Performing vision acuity tests (Snellen charts), understanding refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia), and aiding in diagnostic procedures.Clinical Assistance
: Working alongside surgeons in theatres, assisting with laser treatments, or helping with cataract/glaucoma care.Technical Roles
: Can involve contact lens fitting, optical dispensing, or acting as a patient coordinator.We work with following providers who offer a variety of shifts at flexible rates.
Residential homes Nursing homes Hospitals
