Optical Assistant/receptionist (full Time And Part Time)
Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and self motivated individual to join our existing team. The role is varied and includes a wide range of duties from administration to dispensing and fitting glasses with patients.
Wilkie and Rider are an established independent opticians. We have been serving our local community for over 65 years. We require a friendly and positive staff member to join our team and work between our Bearsden and Dumbarton branches.
The individual who is apply needs to understand our culture. Delivering the best customer service, care in the community and responsibility. We have a very personal approach ensuring we listen and understand out patients needs.
Main duties
:Understanding patient prescriptions and dispense accordingly
Fit patient's spectacles during collections - performing adjustments
Usung online practice management system to book appointment, process orders etc
Administrative work as required by the Optician.
General customer service
Maintain a strong knowledge of all products and services provided by the company
Additional duties
:Training of other staff members as required by the company
Cleaning of the practice as reasonably requested by the company
Manage inventory and order supplies as required
Any other reasonable requests by an optician or the company
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From 25,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 22.5 - 37 per week
