We are currently on the lookout for a Orbital welder with Pharmaceutical, Cleanroom and Lab Gas or Semiconductor experience for a new project within the company
Candidates must have the following experience (Candidates without the below will not be considered for the role):
The ability to programme and set up an Orbital Welder.
The ability to work with stainless tubing in various sizes.
Must have worked in the Pharmaceutical, Cleanroom and Lab Gas or Semiconductor industries.
Weld Certificate for an orbital machine would be preferred but Experience will overrule this.
Job information: The welding and assembling of stainless steel pipe assemblies including valves and various other components. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the welding / manufacture, testing / cleaning, quality & packing of the assemblies.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleanroom Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in aiding production of Ultra High Purity tube assemblies for the Space and Semi-conductor industries. This position requires a proactive approach to assembling components in a cleanroom environment, ensuring that all areas are kept in pristine condition while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Duties
Assemble ultraclean components using technical drawings.
Measure, cut and face tubes for orbital welding.
Weld tubes and components together using a orbital welder.
Cleaning of welded parts utilizing a chemical cleaning process.
Assemble ultraclean tubes and components to larger equipment using technical drawings and instructions.
Testing of components using Helium Leak detector
Packaging of ultra clean components.
Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain consistency in service delivery.
Skills
Ability to Tig Weld or orbital welding experience is a plus.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications relevant to the task in hand.
A good understanding of measuring equipment and hand tools relevant to the job role
An excellent eye for detail and a good understanding of the importance of quality control in the workplace.
Basic knowledge of how to work in a cleanroom and the importance of cleanliness.
Ability to learn the job role quickly and effectively.
Familiar in the use of various gases such as Nitrogen, Helium & Argon
Mechanical / Engineering knowledge is a plus
Experience in helping to develop & maintain working procedures and quality control processes.
