Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Orbital Welder for a 5-month assignment, with the view to transition into a long-term TIG Welder role subject to performance and competency.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality orbital welding, primarily on stainless steel piping systems Ensure all welds meet industry codes and internal quality standards Operate and maintain welding equipment; troubleshoot technical issues when required Communicate effectively with supervision to meet project deadlines and production targets

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in orbital welding Previous workshop experience preferred Strong proficiency with welding tools and equipment Excellent attention to detail and quality Good communication and teamwork skills

Working Hours

44 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Compensation & Benefits

Rates (NAECI categorised): Basic: 22.44/hour Rate A: 31.42/hour Rate B: 40.39/hour 1.50 IBA all hours worked bonus Weld proficiency
