Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Order Assembly Operative- for our busy factory to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the Order Assembly process, ensuring that all orders are put up and ready for the drivers each morning to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work quickly, effectively and efficiently in a warehouse environment. You would need to be used to working in the cold, and wet environment. Good for people who like manual work.

Duties

Operate a computer, labelling machines, and have good general knowlege around labelling and order assembly, although full training will be provided. Putting orders together in a quick efficient manor. Packing products for orders. Keep stocks of all products, rotating stock, ordering stock from other members of staff and from the office. Keeping stocks of labels. Put products through metal detector. Keep the room Clean and tidy. Rotate waste. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain workflow efficiency. Inspect finished crates for quality , ensuring they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the movement of materials within the warehouse as required. Cleaning experience would be desired.

Skills

Proficient in the use of Computers. Experience in assembly processes, demonstrating attention to detail and precision. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management and logistics. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Need to work in a fast paste environment and ability to work fast.
