Position: 6 Months FTC (With the Opportunity to go Permanent)




Base: Manchester - Fulltime Onsite

We are seeking an experienced Order Fulfilment Coordinator to join our team at our Manchester manufacturing facility, specialising in centrifugal pumps & Fire suppression systems. This critical role will support end-to-end order fulfilment across the EMEA region, ensuring that customer orders are processed, produced, and delivered accurately and on time.



You will play a key role in aligning customer demand with manufacturing capacity through active participation in the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process, working closely with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, planning, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:




Order Fulfilment:




Manage and coordinate the full order lifecycle from receipt to shipment across the EMEA region. Monitor order status and proactively resolve issues that may impact delivery timelines. Liaise with internal departments (Planning, Production, Quality, Logistics, Sales) to ensure orders are fulfilled to customer requirements. Ensure accurate and timely entry and maintenance of order information in ERP systems. Act as the point of contact for customer queries related to order status, delivery timelines, and documentation.



SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning):




Participate in the monthly SIOP process, providing input on customer demand, backlog status, and fulfilment capacity. Collaborate with Planning and Sales to balance supply and demand in line with strategic goals. Monitor KPIs related to SIOP (forecast accuracy, order lead times, inventory levels) and recommend corrective actions as needed. Support forecasting activities by analysing historical data and upcoming customer orders.



Logistics & Delivery:




Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping solutions. Prepare and review shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with export regulations across EMEA. Monitor on-time delivery (OTD) performance and implement improvements where required.



Continuous Improvement:




Identify process bottlenecks and work with stakeholders to streamline order fulfilment. Support digitalisation and ERP enhancements related to order processing and fulfilment. Maintain documentation for standard operating procedures related to order fulfilment.



Key Requirements:




Education and Experience




GCSEs including Maths and English (or equivalent). Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Desirable). Proven experience in order fulfilment, customer service, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment - centrifugal pumps or rotating equipment experience preferred. Experience working in a multinational manufacturing or engineering company (Desirable).



Soft Skills




Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.



Technical Skills




Strong knowledge of SIOP / S&OP processes and principles. Familiarity with EMEA export requirements, Incoterms and logistics coordination. Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
