Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking and preparing orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including the use of various equipment and systems to facilitate the order fulfillment process.

Responsibilities

Accurately pick and pack orders based on customer requests using RF scanners. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks to move materials safely within the warehouse. Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of heavy lifting tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA regulations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize order picking processes and improve efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues as necessary. Assist in shipping & receiving activities, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. Follow all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and handling materials.

Experience

Previous experience in warehouse distribution or as an order picker is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Experience operating cranes or other heavy equipment is advantageous. Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety regulations (OSHA). Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance is beneficial. Experience in construction or related fields may be helpful but is not required. Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
