We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order Processor to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of orders, liaising on inventory levels, and facilitating effective logistics operations.
This position requires strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to maintain accuracy throughout the order fulfilment process.
Duties
Review orders for accuracy, ensuring all necessary information is captured before securing customer sign-off.
Processing of Customer Orders.
Ensuring all orders and communications are documented correctly and up to date within our systems.
Ensuring availability of stock, in warehouse or by order with suppliers.
Corresponding with suppliers and customers via email and telephone.
Sending and receiving correspondence via email.
Maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring that customer needs are met, to support business objectives.
Experience
Proven experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with a understanding of warehouse operations.
Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes.
Strong data analysis skills to support decision-making processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with Sage would be beneficial.
