Job Description

The School of Human Sciences is looking to recruit a part-time Service User Co-ordinator. In this post you will be expected to have excellent administration and communication skills. The role consists of working closely with the academic staff in the Social Work team and with members of the public who have lived experience of the social work system in the UK. This position is 0.4FTE and offered as a 14 month fixed term position.



The School of Human Sciences is based within the fantastic and newly refurbished Dreadnought building on the World Heritage site at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich. As part of the long-term plan for the school we are investing in the Social Work portfolio and social work service users are an important part of the wider team. As part of this investment, we are looking to appoint a dynamic and engaged colleague to help support the social work team to work efficiently with services users to maximise their input and valuable lived experience in a way that enriches students experience and achievements



You will be joining a School and Faculty that is building a strong interdisciplinary and cross-professional approach to solving the grand challenges facing society. We are looking for colleagues who will have a commitment to maintaining and building the University's excellence in teaching and learning.



The school has an active and growing research and knowledge exchange base. The University has also been awarded GOLD TEF rating reflecting our excellent teaching and learning. The school was nominated as 'School of the Year' in the Student Led Teaching awards, 2023.
