Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Out of Hours Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to provide high-quality patient care during the day, evenings and overnight shifts. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced healthcare professionals to deliver medical services outside standard hours, ensuring continuous patient support. Various shifts on offer either on base F2F, visiting or triage - please note this role is required onsite and limited remote working is available. This is a Monday - Sunday service so weekend shifts are also on offer and all shifts booked on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

Assess and manage patients presenting with health concerns during out-of-hours periods Conduct thorough patient examinations, utilising anatomy knowledge to inform clinical decisions Administer medications accurately and safely in accordance with established protocols Document all clinical encounters comprehensively within the electronic health records system (Training provided)

Qualifications

Registered Nurse Practitioner or equivalent with valid registration and licensing in the UK Proven experience in patient care, ideally within urgent or primary care settings Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy shifts Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds Ability to work independently during out-of-hours periods while maintaining high standards of clinical practice
