The Role


This is an exciting senior opportunity for a

Deputy Manager

to lead the Out of School Club. The ideal candidate will be

Level 3 Qualified or QTS

but this is not essential if you have relevant experience and transferrable skills.

You will be based in our bright, spacious Before and After School Club with inspiring resources and wonderful outdoor space, caring for children from Reception to Year 6. You will lead a dedicated team of Playworkers and work together to deliver exceptional wraparound childcare.

The Hours


The role can be part-time before and after school (27.5 hrs) or full-time (38 hrs) Monday to Friday, between 7.30am to 6pm.

There is

the option of working in one of our nursery settings during the school day to make the role full-time.


During school holidays you will help to run our hugely popular holiday club.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily operations of the out-of-school club, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children. Lead and manage staff, providing guidance and support to promote effective teamwork. Develop and implement educational activities that foster early childhood development. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and club activities. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and maintain high standards of care. Conduct regular assessments to improve program quality and staff performance.

Pay: 14.25-15.50 per hour
