Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to grow our out of school club team. We offer term time only care and some holiday club care at our Burntwood out of school club.

Our opening hours are 7:30am-8:50am/3pm-6pm

Term time only contract 38 weeks

We are looking for an enthusiastic energetic practitioner to support our children aged 3 years to 11 years organising play opportunities for them, including creative play, physical activities, cooking etc.

Job requirements:

To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children Too provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop applicants must have a minimum of level 3 qualification in Childcare and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent. To have key person responsibilities, support and monitor children's development and work alongside the school to support children's next steps for learning. Support all staff and engage in a good staff team To have a thirst to learn, engage in CPD opportunities provided and take responsibility to keep up to date with any new legislation/initiatives To be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g. training, staff meeting, fundraising events etc. To be quick to pick up routines, follow policy ad procedure Be fair and consistent in dealing with childrens behaviour

Person Specification

Experience working in a play based learning environment will be advantageous

You

must

hold a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification to work with under 5's

You

must

have a clear understanding of child development and developmental needs from age 3 -11years

You

must

have an understanding of the EYFS

Be Passionate and motivated to make a difference

A Strong team player

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of SEND advantageous

Have a good work ethic

Show reliability and commitment to the job.

Club Opening Hours - Monday to Friday 7.30am 8:50am / 3pm - 6.00pm

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.41 per hour
