We support children who would require emotional support to attend, rather than physical support.
We aim to provide a varied learning experience, which takes into account all the different needs of the children within the group.
We focus on topics that are nature based, bringing in language, art, STEM, cooking and food growing. By providing a nurturing & compassionate environment, we will get the best out of the children and in turn they will get the best out of the sessions.
Leaders need to be able to change direction with activities quickly, and have a bank of accessible games to play with the group, when things are not working to plan.
The area we work in is self contained, but the safety still needs to be ensured, with Leaders supervising.
The ratio in the woods is a maximum of 1:6; sessions will be parent or school support worker supported.
