Job Overview

This Apprentice role is for a motivated and caring individual to work with our Little

Crickets Forest School team as a minimum Level 2 Apprentice. This role

offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in early years

childcare while working towards a Level 3 Early Years Educator

qualification. You'll be part of a supportive team dedicated to providing

high-quality care and education for children aged 2-5 years.

Duties

Assist in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Be committed to safeguarding and protection of all the children in our community Support children's learning and development through play and structured activities. Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Daily lunch cover duties Contribute to children's personal care routines including feeding, toileting, and hygiene. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Observe and record children's progress under supervision. Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship programme. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all children. Attend staff meetings & INSET days as required

Requirements

Currently at Level 2 minimum A genuine interest in working with young children in our outdoor Forest area Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and undertake training. Reliable, punctual, and committed to the role. GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) are desirable but not essential.

Pay: 10.00 per hour
