Broxap is a family owned engineering business based in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire, established in 1946. We are market leaders in the design and manufacture of street furniture, shelters, covered walkways and playground equipment.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30, flexibility on hours and overnight stays may be required
Our play and outdoor fitness equipment divisions are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Installer to professionally install its products nationally into schools, public spaces, and other outdoor areas. Working from engineering drawings, you will have a good eye for detail and be competent in all aspects of installation, assembly, and finishing.
Travelling nationwide, duties will include working on site, liaising with customers and contractors, setting out and erecting timber play and outdoor gym equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out the safe, efficient installation and remedial work to specifications of our timber playground equipment and metal outdoor equipment on sites throughout the UK.
Interpret engineering drawings.
Be capable of working to a high standard to achieve a satisfactory installation, which is right first time.
Be familiar and competent in all aspects of site safety.
Ensure Health & Safety regulations & safe working practices are adhered to.
Accurately complete and return documentation.
Experience and Required Skills:
Good problem solving and communication skills
Attention to detail
Excellent knowledge of groundworks
Good understanding of site safety
Valid CSCS card preferred, although application to the scheme may be made on your behalf
A reliable professional attitude and motivated outlook.
