Job Description

Purpose:

Accountable to the Quality Manager and quality department, the successful candidate's primary role is to inspect components that have been recently introduced or have recently undergone a process change. This is to ensure they meet the required Nifco and customer specification.

Main Duties:

Inspect production components following the PQF (Production Quality Folder) to ensure the parts are in accordance with Nifco and customer requirements to inspection instruction and any care points.

Liaise between production staff and Quality Engineers if concerns arise

Reporting non conforming parts to the relevant departments

To carry out any other relevant duties as required by the business and or supervisor

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Essential

Good communication skills

Conscientious Attention to detail

Desirable

Automotive industry experience

Manufacturing experience

Good interpersonal skills

Nifco UK product knowledge

Flexibility due to shift work and overtime (some weekend work may be required)
