Job Description

At Castle Composites we manufacture and supply a range of products for a variety of markets such as Roofing, Building, Landscaping, Gyms and Playgrounds.

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our concrete products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role involves conducting inspections, analysing data, and implementing quality control measures to enhance product quality, integrity and safety.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Analyse inspection results and prepare detailed reports on findings, identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control measures. Participate in regular training to stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes. Assist in the development and refinement of quality assurance processes and procedures.

Skills

Understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Monday - Friday: 15-20 hours per week, hours negotiable.

This position would be ideally suited to someone who wishes to work on a semi retired basis.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 13.50 per hour
