The Outreach Administrator for L D Training will play a vital role in enhancing our presence and engagement within the community. This dynamic role requires an individual adept at organising, coordinating, and representing L D Training at various outreach events. The Outreach Administrator will support the Outreach Manager in executing a robust outreach program that includes careers fairs, student fairs, mock interviews, aspiration days, discussion panels, and taster sessions. The position demands excellent communication skills, meticulous organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to engaging with local contacts and prospective students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outreach Program Participation:
Actively participate in a wide range of events across the regions, including careers fairs, student fairs, mock interviews, aspiration days, discussion panels, and taster sessions.
Engage face-to-face with potential students and community members to promote L D Training's programs and offerings.
2. Event Coordination:
Support the Outreach Manager in coordinating with local contacts to confirm event specifics, including venues, catering, local publicity, bookings, and evaluations.
Ensure all logistical arrangements are managed efficiently to facilitate smooth event execution.
3. Enquiry Management:
Answer enquiries related to outreach events and L D Training programs promptly and accurately, providing detailed information and support.
4. Representation and Engagement:
Represent L D Training at meetings and events around the region, effectively communicating our mission and programs.
Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including schools, colleges, community organisations, and businesses.
5. Content Development:
Assist in creating and testing new and revised content for taster days and interactive student/career fairs, ensuring it is engaging and relevant to the audience.
Collaborate with colleagues responsible for website content and communications to ensure outreach activities are well-publicized and supported with appropriate materials.
6. General Responsibilities:
Perform additional duties as may reasonably be required from time to time to support the overall objectives of the outreach program.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, feedback, and outcomes to inform future planning and improvements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in event coordination or a similar role, preferably within an educational or community outreach context.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
Proficiency in using office software and systems for reporting and communication.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required by outreach events.
Working Conditions:
This role involves travel across the region to attend and participate in various outreach events.
