Outreach Worker Driver With Business Insurance ( Every Tuesday And Thursday 4pm 8pm)
Job Description
Build trusting relationships with children and young people through regular outreach visits and planned activities.
Provide one-to-one and group support, focusing on social skills, confidence-building, emotional regulation, and resilience
Assess children's needs using appropriate tools and contribute to the development and review of support plans.
Deliver or assist with community-based programs, play sessions, and educational activities.
Keep accurate records, complete assessments, and produce written reports for internal use and multi-agency meetings.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, reporting concerns in line with organizational and statutory child protection procedures.
Support children transitioning between services, schools, or placements.
Attend training, supervision, and team meetings as required.
Person Specification :Essential:
Experience working with children, young people, and families in a support or outreach capacity. Understanding of child development, safeguarding, and trauma-informed practice. Ability to build positive, respectful relationships with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively. Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (if travel is required). Business Insurance is Essential
Desirable:
Relevant qualification in social care, youth work, education, or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above). Knowledge of local services and community resources. Experience working with children who have additional needs or who are at risk of harm/exclusio
Pay: 14.25 per hour
