About the Role



DoorDash is looking for a

driven and entrepreneurial Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (aGML)

to join our

Outside Sales team

and support growth in

emerging and rural markets

. In this field-based role, you'll travel within your assigned region to

build partnerships with local and regional restaurants

, helping them join the DoorDash platform.

You will manage a

fast-paced, transactional sales cycle

, closing new business through in-person meetings and direct outreach. This is an exciting opportunity to expand the DoorDash footprint in

untapped markets

, working directly with restaurant owners and making an impact in your community.

What You'll Do



Travel within your assigned territory to

meet with restaurant owners face-to-face

Sell the value

of partnering with DoorDash and

negotiate revenue share agreements

Manage a

short sales cycle

, often closing deals within a few days Collaborate with your

Regional Sales Manager

for strategy, tools, and market insights Leverage provided sales tools (sales sheets, gift cards, business cards, etc.) Represent DoorDash in a professional and approachable manner

Travel Expectations



Majority of travel will be within

2 hours

of your home city (El Centro or Calexico) Occasional

overnight hotel stays

and long travel days (6-7 hours of driving or air travel) All travel expenses are

covered and monitored

by DoorDash

Compensation

Base salary + uncapped commission

On-Target Earnings (OTE):

$1,750/month in commission

, with the potential to exceed Earn additional income for

each new restaurant partnership

2.5+ years of outside sales experience

, preferably in a transactional environment Are willing and able to

travel extensively

(at least 50% of the time) Are skilled in both

inside and outside sales tactics
