: Overlabelling Machine Operator
Sessions UK is seeking a detail-oriented Overlabelling Machine Operator to join our York team. This role combines precise label application with essential administrative tasks to ensure seamless production and office support.
Role Overview
As an Overlabelling Machine Operator, you will:
Operate and maintain overlabelling machinery to apply labels accurately over existing ones
Support office functions by handling data entry, order tracking, and communication with internal teams
Ensure all labelling meets size, placement, and compliance standards
Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics to meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and load label materials for each production run
Set up and adjust machine settings for batch changes
Perform regular quality checks and correct any misaligned or damaged labels
Monitor inventory of labels and report low-stock situations
Record production data and maintain accurate batch records
Liaise with internal teams to coordinate shipments and material deliveries
Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic production tracking software
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment troubleshooting
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience
Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous
Previous exposure to office administration or data-entry tasks preferred
Familiarity with labelling processes or packaging machinery a plus
