As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests. Your role will involve welcoming customers, taking orders, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. You will also assist with food preparation and maintain a clean and organised environment in accordance with food safety standards.
Duties
Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations.
Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy, demonstrating basic maths skills.
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
Basic culinary skills for assisting in food preparation tasks.
Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards.
Ability to upsell products confidently while providing excellent customer service.
Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members alike.
