Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified
Overhead Crane Operator
to work within a steel industry environment. The role involves the safe operation of overhead cranes to lift, move, load and position steel materials in accordance with site procedures and safety standards.Key Responsibilities
Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently Conduct pre-use inspections of cranes and lifting equipment Secure and position steel loads correctly Comply with all health and safety regulations Report defects, hazards, or incidents
Requirements
Valid overhead crane operator certification (CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent) Previous experience in a steel or heavy industrial environment preferred Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
