About the Role

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our industry-leading hollow section Division as a Night Shift Tube Laser Operator. You will be working with Bystronic Bytube 130 Laser to produce precision components for our high-quality towbar products.

Full and extensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the bystronic bytube 130 tube laser to cut hollow section materials into required specifications and finished products. Load and unload materials using an overhead crane in a safe and controlled manner. Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings. Monitor cutting quality and ensure components meet required tolerances. Identify problems, carry out basic troubleshooting, and escalate issues to the leadership team when required. Work proactively to maintain productivity, quality and safety standards.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Proven experience operating tube laser machinery (Bystronic experience preferred) Experience using overhead cranes (slinging and lifting knowledge desirable) Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Strong problem-solving skills. A pro-active and reliable approach to work. Flexibility with shift times is essential. Willingness to work overtime during peak production periods.

Working Hours

Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 - 07:00 Induction/Training: 4 weeks on day shift (Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00)
