Overhead Crane Operator

Allelys Group is growing and we're seeking a motivated Overhead Crane Operator to join our Heavy Storage & Warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading companies in Abnormal Load Transport and Heavy Lifting.

In this role, you will be central to the safe movement of heavy machinery and equipment, collaborating closely with our experienced Heavy Forklift Drivers.

You will be responsible for:

Operate overhead cranes to safely load and unload heavy engineering equipment. Work alongside Heavy Forklift Drivers to move large press tools. Support the preparation and location of goods for transport. Maintain accurate warehouse records and manage inventory. Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Be willing to train in additional roles, such as becoming a certified Heavy Forklift Driver.

You will have the following skills and experience:

Previous experience operating overhead cranes in a warehouse or industrial environment. Ability to multitask and a willingness to learn new skills. Proactive, team-focused, and reliable work ethic. Physically fit to handle hands-on tasks.
