Job Summary
English Teacher required to work with ESL students in central Oxford on short courses experience of guiding students around Oxford, 35/hr
(Option to also teach IGCSE Geography)
I represent the British International School, an English language school and educational travel agency specialising in study holidays and school trips for international student groups, primarily from Italy. Our students, aged 15-18 and currently attending secondary school, visit London, Cambridge, Ireland and other European destinations for study holidays. They typically stay for five nights to a week, attending academic courses in the morning and participating in city tours and excursions in the afternoon.
Our courses are not necessarily standard General English courses; they may also focus on subjects such as debating, culture and history, school subjects, theatre, and more. Lessons are conducted in English only, allowing students to improve their language skills while studying other subjects.
The Oxford course dates: 24, 25, 26, 27 November, approx 7 hours per day
Requirements: over 18, excellent English language skills, excellent communication skills, well presented, good organisation, punctual, University bachelors degree, teaching experience
Desirable: English language teaching experience, TEFL/CELTA English as a Foreign Language certificate or similar, Oxford city centre guide experience, IGCSE/GCSE Geography
